To the SUS and MCU boys who turned up today; Respect to all of you, you were solid and vocal and did not provoke us at all and both sets of supporters helped generate a great atmosphere for the grand final. Great sportsmanship.
See you guys next season.

Sweeper you're wrong.
They had 50 2 weeks ago.
The only banner that wasn't there's today was the 'MCF' - Melbourne Cro Fans banner. Vatican flag I also assume was MCFs?

Well most of them didn't look like football supporters. I noticed they were let in from another gate. Was that to avoid trouble ?

Lol there was about 15 MCF all up. Out of curiosity, what does a football supporter look like? Lol
There were Brisbane Croats spread out around the place and a few from other clubs but the vast majority from behind the goal were Sydney boys

Well most of them didn't look like football supporters. I noticed they were let in from another gate. Was that to avoid trouble ? Yes it was to make sure that contact between both sets of supporters was kept to a minimum. From what I heard from the guys at the ticket booths, only about 50 of the Sydney United fans behind the goals paid for entry. Olympic gave up and let them in cause they didn't have enough people to sell tickets, though I'm not 100% on the details.

There's no need for me to hide, mate. You win some, you lose some. That's football
Take the result out of the equation and you'd have to say that it was a great day for both clubs and state league football in general. The quality of the match wasnt as good as the two we had in the regular season but shit happens.
For me, Hendo was the difference.... but our boys should be shot for leaving Smith unmarked on the edge of the box and for the defending on that second corner.

I missed the 2nd goal, but when we had the corner in the b4 thefirst goal and saw no1 was marking Alex smith, I said we were going to score.
Correct, irrespective of results, yesterday was the beat game in the state league since we joined this shitty comp

The second corner came in and missed everyone in the box... it reached the back post where one of our defenders (might have been Rudes) stood and watched it while Luksic came from behind and put it into an empty net
