Sydney Olympic has shown that it has built a championship winning squad and a progressive club culture in two short years. It is a football club where the board, coaching staff, squad and supporters are like one tightly knit family. Throughout both seasons the Board and Ultras have co-operated with each other to make sure that match days go smoothly and that extra effort is taken to make sure that there is no trouble, violence or rule breaking. For the Ultras it has been an enjoyable season and we have shown to the footballing community that we support our club consistently week in week out.
As an Olympic Ultra it has been a pleasure and honour to support a club which has so many great people behind it. People like Giannaros who has not only showed us a great deal of faith and trust but acknowledged us as a supporter group early on and rewarded us for our unwavering support with the celebrations the Ultras were a part of today and at the conclusion of the last fixture against APIA.
It is a pity that many people still refuse to support Olympic because of things that happened in the past before this board took control and helped steer Olympic into a positive direction and a stable future.
I hope that winning the championship will wake people up to the new Olympic and attract them to the games next season.
Congratulations to everyone involved with Olympic these last two seasons and keep up the good work. The boys love you and appreciate the effort you put in to give us these unforgettable happy memories.
