Funding would also be helped by the upcoming Foxtel deal where Lowy is hoping the increased TV rights will be enough to support all the Gay Leagueteams. I am sure there are enough rich Greeks and other investors to put in any other funds required. Increased exposure from being in the Gay Leagueinstead of NSW Premier League will also bring in increased crowd numbers.

We should back those old clubs if they get an opportunity to join the A-League. If the door can be opened up for them, then we have a chance. An opportunity could come later on.

Did anyone see the Smith Report results on the A-League?
Apparently expansion and B-League to be delayed for a few more year.

What chnages are your proposing? Location - we wouldnt move - we dont need to name- why should we - nothing wrong with our name what changes do you want? we have 500 life members worth around 5 billion dollars, we have money maybe the club does not have assets but we have 1 fans 2 benefactors 3 football no how 4 pasisonate fans 5 imagine if we had tv exposure were our crowds could be if we pull 2,500 for a run in the mill nswpl match. our supporters are there for 10k averages if we had others jump on board we would be the biggest club in sydney no doubt. we dont need free tickets we would focus on crowds to come from two areas 1 - olympic fans 2 - ppl who live in the st george, bankstown, canterbury areas. thats all we need Identity mate. relying on a single group in the community is not what football is about anymore. You would need to be identifiable to all people to be able to enter the A-league. And I don't think the Croats, Serbs and plain old anglos could identify olympic. We also don't need a club servicing the St George, Bankstown, Canterbury areas as a large portion of HAKOA fans come from those areas. We need a team that services the areas that are not covered by HAKOA and the most logical place for that would be a team playing out of Parramatta stadium. Parramatta and the west is arguably a separate city to sydney, and would enable a greater map projection of teams to areas covered.

So what ur saying is sydney needs 3-4 teams because HAKOA are not servicing shyt, those areas are not theres bud dont be naive those areas are as much theirs as campden, blacktown and auburn

Blackmac, I would argue that Canterbury and Bankstown are NOT SFC areas. st George perhaps cause of the proximity to the M5, but Canterbury and Bankstown defianly no. Canterbury Bankstown is full of Arabs who don't care for football, Koreans and Chinese in the same boat, and Greeks who don't care about SFC.
