After the completion of the multi-million dollar works at Belmore Sports Ground and the new facilities for our historic Club, the work at Peter Moore field has commenced and whilst the new dressing rooms and amenities are now completed the works on the ground are now taking place.
Canterbury Council has approved to fund with $1.8m the redevelopment of Peter Moore, with new facilities, resurfacing the ground whilst also fencing off the area and installing a small grandstand, so the ground will also meet the criteria of Football NSW to host Super League and Premier League games.
Sydney Olympic football Club is proud to work closely with Canterbury Council and to provide to our 350+ players quality training and playing grounds. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Robert Furolo and Mr Jim Montague for their cooperation in this fantastic outcome for sport in our area. The works are due to be completed by the end of January 2012, ready for the 2012 Football NSW season that will commence a few weeks later.
