Jean-Paul de Marigny has assembled a strong squad for 2012 and with former United star midfielder Ufuk Talay assisting at the Reds, the club certainly looks to be in safe hands. The Reds have recruited Mitchell Stamatellis from Sydney Olympic, Stjepan Paric from the Wolves, Ben Jurman from the Central Coast Mariners youth side, Robert Kolak from the Newcastle Jets youth side and Jarrod Lum from Bonnyrigg White Eagles. The club retained goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic along with Mitchell Speer, Michael Cindric, Todd Brodie, Elsid Barkhousir, Ben Vidaic, Petar Markovic and Mitchell Thompson to name a few. Club captain Ivo Bosnar will once again don the armband while lethal striker Luka Glavas and former Melbourne Heart youngster Ante Tomic will also link up at Edensor Park once more. After a number of interests from rival NSW Premier League clubs, 2011 Gold Medal winner Steve Hayes will wear the precious number ten jersey at the club and will certainly be one to look out for again in 2012. Sydney United's first match of the season is an away clash against Parramatta FC at Melita Stadium on the 1st of April 2012. Our new nike kits havent arrived yet.
Those are the kits that the boys have been training in i think. They must have been wearing them when the photographer was there
