This is ROCKDALE FOR 2012:  Suns aiming for better 2012 season 29.02.12 15:11 Rockdale City Suns will have skipper Pece Apolevski lead the squad yet again for 2012 NSW Premier League side Rockdale City Suns are hoping that 2012 brings better fortunes for the club with the start of the season just around the corner. Coach Wally Savor has brought together 10 new faces to the squad as Rockdale hope to take part in their first finals series since their promotion into the NSW Premier League. Former Sutherland Sharks’ duo Paul Kohler and Hussein Jasli, ex-Bonnyrigg defender Takuya Muruyama and ex-Stallions defender Nathan Jagelman are just some of the new faces the club will sport this year. The club resigned stalwart Pece Apolevski, Jason Naidovski, Sash Tirovski, Askin Oygur and the Speranza brothers Giorgio and Roberto amongst a few other players have been resigned by the club. The Suns finished in eighth spot during the 2011 season and are hoping to improve on that position in 2012. Rockdale City Suns’ first match is an away clash to 2011 Premiers and Champions Sydney Olympic on the 1st of April at Belmore Sports Ground with kick off set for 3pm.
