He had a couple of good performances, but he couldn't really make the step up - were always more talented players ahead of him.
Still he would be a great addition for the A-league. He would prob want to stay in Europe though.

Playing for a lower team in Greece would be more beneficial for him than returning to Australia. The exposure to other European leagues alone is more incentive to stay there.

Yes true - he did play second division in Greece and from memory was top scorer there. It did help his game.

I doubt he would have bought one...chances are he would be renting something comfortable while putting the rest away. At least that's what I would do.

Yes true - he did play second division in Greece and from memory was top scorer there. It did help his game. He was loaned out to AO Kerkyra, was the highest goal scorer and helped them be promoted to the top division. He should've stayed with them.

Ha true.
In Greece - cost of living is traditionally pretty low - now they have problems because cost of electricity is on the up and the people are been asked to pay tax (and more of it) - something they are not use to doing.
Although Burns would find it hard in a top notch league - I think he is still a good player for the A-league, and maybe could make a go of it in a Belgian or Dutch League.

Greece first division is good for him. If he was with Ergotelis or Panetolikos for example. Other than that maybe in Portugal in a lower team or Turkey.

If he took the offers on his table from OFH or Panaitolikos at the start of the year it could of turned out different but unfortunately that cocky anglo we know best attitude fucked him
