Funny thing!
Last time I looked, neither Gillard nor Abbott were on my election ballot. (nor are they going head to head in the same electorate)
Stop embarrassing yourselves and discuss accurately.
Does Gillard or Abbott win of they lose their seat and the their party wins the majority of seats? (this is theoretically possible)

Despite all the polls saying ALP in a tight one, I think the Libs may have convinced enough people in the marginals and therefore pick up more than what they think (or are counting on)
The ALP will cop a pasting in QLD.
So to make the call?
Mr Inde says that they will tie and we will have a hung parliament.
You heard it here first.

Interesting call mrinde. If Labor wins this election they will be lucky. Australia voted Labor into the government with Kevin Rudd at the top, but threw him out before his first term was even over. That will make a huge impact on public opinion on the party as the voters elected a Rudd Government and not a Gillard Government. This is a failure of democracy once again as it goes to show that no matter what the people want or vote for. The parties can change it as they please. This can happen to the Liberals too, i'm just disappointed that Labor is the example now.
I've always been a Labor voter but I think it's going to be tight.
