Obviously the Berries squad will be there for the taking with them going down to SuperLeague, todays greek herald has had picture of Kostas Lagoudakis and John Tsironis and it said "Free and Gentlemen"
Its goes on to say that they are free players and when they played against olympic they were both gentleman and never did anything to the Olympic fans

Is the Greek Herald acting as agents for these two?
If they are good enough (on and off the pitch) they will go to the best club for them.
I urge them to pick the club that they want to go to, not the club that some may say they are obliged to join.

No the paper is not there agents unlike graham arnold and brett holman.
The best club for any player is Sydney Olympic football club but its a matter of if the club wants them.
Kosta Lagoudakis is a beast and a must sign in my view.

Both papers have and still do push agendas.
If the players are good enough to come to Olympic next season then well done. Of course it depends on the coach, the budget, the strategy/direction, etc. The players must also want to play for the club and not feel railroaded.
What the paper says about these players is correct though in that whenever they have played against Olympic, they never carried on like farkwits and always had respect. The same cannot be said about the player who the other paper is pushing who happens to be the sports editors son.

they are the same type of player - hard and strong but slow we can't have both on at the same time if we had both I totally disagree, I think that them two holding the midfield with two speedy wingers and two speedy strikers we will run havock. Our defence wil be 4 at the back plus the two beats in front plus a 4 prong attack with 2 wingers and 2 strikers. Popopo |

I have faith in the selections which will be made for next season's squad, but I don't want to see my faith shattered like last season when we all thought we would be playing finals and instead we were fighting relegation.
If the boys come to Olympic, good luck to them! We'll be behind them 100% but they need to show the same determination on the pitch.

I agree, talent should be the key factor when choosing a player, but if there are two players of equal talent and one is Greek the Greek kid should get preference.
