I'm racking my brains over it PAOKTZI - just when I think I have his motives figured out - he will do something to suggest the opposite.
Perhaps there is no method to his madness. He will just do what he wants, when he wants to piss people off.

No decent player will ever want to play in a "rebel league" Exactly... anyone who wants to make a real career out of football would avoid it That doesnt mean that there wouldnt be plenty of interested players willing to give up the chance of a career in Europe if the money in the hypothetical rebel league is huge... but that would be unsustainable in the long term anyway

palmer has the dough to make it work. So does Lowy, but is he using his own money? He's just using ours via Federal Govt. Tax dollars and junior soccer regestration fees
