Well it's true sydcro. Sydney united supporters never used to travel in the nsl. I remember at leichhardt oval when trajanovski scored 2 goals in injury time to make it 2 -2 and all the supporters ran in the field. There were literally no Croatians at the game. You never travelled because you never wanted Olympic to make money from the ticket sales. Same as Marconi . Where as Olympic would always go to your ground, Marconi etc but as I said that was in the past....

The older guys traveled in numbers, and no-one can deny it. But they didn't show the club any support at Toyota park and didn't come back in large numbers at OKI. Even when we returned to Belmore we didn't see much of a rise in attendance. Fact remains that the SUS boys have about 40-60 active supporters who are all in their late 20's or early 30's, we have 15-20 supporters, 7 of which are active and 6 are in their early to late 20's. Instead of talking on the internet, which gave these guys the ground to produce their banners, how about you look at finding any relatives you have which are our age and convince them to come to the games and stand and sing with the Ultras. Until that happens the only thing Olympic will have to brag about is the on pitch record, which up until recently was nothing to brag about either. I hate hearing people talk online and then at matches all there is is silence. Fuck's sake, if you love Olympic it's not enough to come to the match, bring a friend, bring a relative, bring a youngster that will keep the club alive. |
