Olympic should send a letter to the Gay Leagueand FFA stating that we were just about to apply for admission into the Gay Leaguebut our board decided against it due to the unstable situation that the Gay Leagueand FFA is in.

the shootout vid "benny and the jets" is the best most reliable source that argues the fact of the matter

Where does this leave Olympic's 'bid'? is it meant to be any different? Olympic is the club in the best position to make a successful transition into a national competition.. whether the Gay Leagueis still around or not in 6 weeks is the more immediate question

To join the Gay Leaguenow would be very risky, sit back and wait. This could end up being a real financial disaster for the FFA.

Everything the Gay Leaguehas done over the past 3 weeks is a sign of desperation - even if they try to dress it up.
* GCU folding * WS launched (no backers, shelf life of 2 - 3 seasons as it stands - just for a tv deal) - 6 months to get ready * The "investment into footballing infrastrucure" - read bailout because they arenearly broke * Jets giving the FFA the old Kuratz
