Everyone that is an olympic fan wants them to go to the a league. Me as well. we say the aleague is shocking and that they are failing and need a b league but they probably wont make a b league for many reasons. IF olympic was to make it in they would need many more changes and stuff to happen
A league crods are shit and majority are below 10000 but our crowds are only 1000 on average
Their quality of football is not too good but olympic finished around 10th this year and will need a dramatic change to become one of the best.
The stadium isnt as good even though we got a 25 year lease. the grass isnt decent, the boxes are not furnished, the canteen only sells souvlaki and coke, the seats behind and on the other side are rotten and the building on the grass with he scoreboard is pretty much an abanded building.
and the ultras only sing greek chants so if all the greeks willing to chant came to olympic and we didnt have any english chants then no english people come.
but
we do have the biggest crwods
a 25 year lease
olympic are still giving players to aleague
we have doubled on season passes
and the biggest stadium with another 6 million referbishment
what do u think

All fair points but you need to understand.
As is olympic is running on a budget between 600k to 700k thousands of our supportters dont rate the NSWPL and if we were in the Gay Leaguewe could get decent crowds with all the exposure on foxsports and other media channels.
We have been a national icon in football for years and produced over 60 soceroos, our club has never been in recievership or administration like most Gay Leagueclubs.
We have history and supportters with the same deal most Gay Leagueclubs get we would be doing just fine.
With your points if we were to be in the Gay Leaguewe could refurbish the ground it is not hard. Souvlakia is not an issue its meat after all. Next season the Ultras will introduce a lot more english chants.
But for us to get a look in we need to average 3000 plus crowds and the owness is on us and the clubs to make this happen.
I know season pass renewals are going out this week and its still August so the club is working in more of a professional manner than most Gay Leagueclubs.
Work needs to be done but hell yes

B-league is a short term goal.
Gay Leagueis a long term goal.
Belmore Sports Ground remember, will be refubished to meet NRL standards. I'm sure if the Ground is refurbished to NRL standards, it will be up to A/B-league standards.
Us and South Melbourne are also the most professional ran Clubs at State League Level.
Olympic has:
A trophy room
Offices
Media room
Physio room
and a full time worker.
No other State League Club can boast these features, especially offices with a full time worker. Remember, all people at this level are just volunteers and have other full-time jobs.

im a bulldogs supporter nearly as much as olympic so that will bring in more crowds

i went to my mates final at sans souci - clyadon reserve a lot of greeks at the club including me and i put 50 flyers for olympics ultras forums and websites on the windscreen of peoples cars and i think we got a few people. will do this at other events and places. if u want to see my flyer send me an email mp3blue@hotmail.com and i will send u it  |

Kosta! you are the best, you should be extremely proud of you have done.
If we get even just 1 Ultra, because of your small sacrifice of time and effort, job done. If not, you have made people aware that we exist. You should be extremely happy with yourself.
We need more of this type of passion and commitment.
