Rumour is that the board will be meeting with Canterbury council either on Tuesday or Wednesday to inform them that this weeks Olympic home match v APIA will be taking place at Belmore, and that if they want to go down the avenue of legal action, Olympic welcomes it.

Until we actually find a home ground of our own, this will be our story. That is the one wrong thing at Olympic. Imagine how great it would be to have our own ground. OLYMPIC STADIUM. I'll keep hoping, maybe one day.

Now that you are no longer in the national comp this be always a dream. As the generations pass on these types of clubs will slowly vanish. It is sad but true. We might love these ethnic clubs, but each year there are less of us. We need to do more; we should be helping out our clubs by being more than just supporters. Every little thing can help. Even helping to clean up the ground after a match is contributing. The fight against gay league should never stop (what they have done to us should never be forgotten).

Having being away in queensland for six year and only returning to Sydney this year I can see the difference. The crowds have dropped an there is less sponsorship for one. One of my friends sings at the mega Alexandro club in marrickville and even there, there are not many people attending unfortunately, and it is a great night out. I was thinking of saint George hungarian club which I believe is close to Brighton as I attended a match there against Sydney united a few years ago. In the 1960s and 70s that stadium used to get packed. Now they would be lucky to get a 100 people in the winter comp.
