Olympic is fighting alone. Football NSW won't help us. FFA won't help us. And Canterbury Council and the doggies are trying to suffocate us. How did it come to this. Such a great club treated with such disrespect, treated like something they have found on the bottom of their shoe. Disgraceful. What do you mean "how did it come to this"? Its been like this since forever. Nearly every single football stakeholder and three quarters of the Greek community wants to see the club dead. The anglos wants us out, every other nationality wants us out or doesn't care and the worst thing 3/4's of the Greeks wants us out. The FFA too wants us out yesterday. Do you know why? Major jealousy. They hate us cause they love us. We are the girlfriend they never had nor they could ever get. The anglos are jealous of our success and the footprint we have made in football. The other ethnics (apart from the Italians and Cros) can only dream of their communities achieving what we have over 50 years and are embarrassed. The Greeks who were desperate to be a part of Olympic were never good enough to play so they've been deathriding the club for decades. The FFA, well, we are Sydney football, they're not. They're doing everything possible to wipe out our history. Its more imporatnt time than ever to get behind the club and board. Leave the bitching behind, and fight - together. There are many that want to see us dead. Any personal agendas need to be taken off the table. |

I agree, how many people have told me they hate the club.
Then I find out they or their kids didn't get selected at the trials.
That includes Greeks and all nationalities, including Aussies.
They are morons.
The Greek Olympic haters are traitors and should be ashamed of themselves.

This is what shits me the most, I could not give 1 fuck if every malakismeno group of people out there hated Olympic.....BUT when a lot of your own community do it then thats a disgrace

I won't tell any stories on a public forum (it could be too obvious about who I'm talking about) but ex coaches and ex players have their agendas. I don't know even know many people in the Olympic scene, but I know people a lot of people have it in for the club. PM me if you'd like.
