Guys, this thread is for the biggest patates who played for Sydney Olympic throughout our 53 year history, looking for some mad memories and some recent duds.

i remember one guy christodoulou very briefly as a kid, some short pudgy guy apparently he was a sick player all I remember was half of leichhardt oval laughing at him when he was trying to run down a through ball!
does anyone remember him??

Refenes was a limited player. Certainly not the biggest patata. He had lightening speed and killer left foot cross from the by-line. Unfortunately, that was about the extent of his ability.

Norm Tome was a consistent performer. You knew what he was going to deliver every week. His confidence was shaken in the latter years, far from a patata, certainly not a legend. Simply a good servant to SOFC.
Poimer, delivered very little, came t the club, unfit and overated and didn't go far from there.
I think nether of these two would make the final 10 biggest SOFC patates!

Norm Tome was a consistent performer. You knew what he was going to deliver every week. His confidence was shaken in the latter years, far from a patata, certainly not a legend. Simply a good servant to SOFC. Poimer, delivered very little, came t the club, unfit and overated and didn't go far from there. haha i remember Tome did a backflip inside the box with the ball when he got tacked then got yellow carded for diving! definitely not a bad player and good enough for the top-tier in Australia in his day i suppose..
