You know its the right thing to happen, the West Sydney Rovers do not have an owner and do not have any funds, do not have any supporters base.
The West Sydney Rovers are at the moment a name and a logo, the three people the FFA have put up to us to run this club will not put a cent into the club therefore this new franchise is in big trouble before anything has started.
So why does the ffa not put Marconi in place
- The have there owne stadium which was used for the socceroos as a training ground and as a stadium for friendlies, its a nice stadium and will look very good when full due to its size will be full all the time
- They have a club house that generates millions in revenue each year and have all the facilities to run a club
- they have over 30,000 social members and would be easy to get people through the gate
- they have the hisotry and knowledge to run a club
You know its makes sense its the latest talk around football grounds and i am all for it!
If a club liek Marconi gets in the Gay Leagueits stop this bs about ethnic clubs being aloud in the comp and will open opportunities for us.
Sydney City - East/North Sydney Marconi - Wesy Sydney Sydney Olmypic - Inner West,Bankstown/ St George
You know it makes sense.

The argument the FFA would use against Marconi is that they have lost a large number of supporters over the years and that marconi stadium only fits 15, 000 comfortably.
While Marconi has a great set up, the ground they have isn't up to the scratch of the A-league. They would need to upgrade the stadium to a modern all seater stadium which is covered. If they don't satisfy these requirements then I don't see any hope for Marconi.

and even though they have 30000 members none turn up to games
they just go to eat their pizza and macaroni and go home
their stadium is a bit rusty as well
but then agian there is only melbourne perth wellington and syndey who get 10000+ crowds

Fair enough, I stand corrected.
The facilities still need improvement.
