sorry fellas but really what's with the negativity? MrInde i thought exactly as you did so I asked around, basically what I heard was that he wants to give more time to his family who can blame him? Phoenix what are you talking about man, Im still here helping out, you're here helping too, Ultras have been formed, the club has juniors, seniors, players who love the team.. the club could have Pol Pot as President but what would that matter? the President isnt the club, it will live and die if we choose to support or not support, dont you agree? lol solz youre funny man I do not have a problem with Graham resigning. It's very bad to lose valuable people like him. What is even more sadder is when a club forces a volunteer to resign all because two clowns want to push their agendas through the club.

The President isn't the club, true... but when he runs the club like it's his own.. when he tells volunteers to "politely fuck off", when he white ants fellow directors, when he makes comments in newspapers about volunteers, and when he doesn't stick up for the club he's supposed to be President of, as well as failing to lodge a complaint against a player who calls Olympic supporters "turks".. well.... how do you think some supporters feel about it?

Phoenix, Can you elaborate? Are you implying that ot is a real possibility that Graham was "asked" to resign? For ease of reference can you list who is left (without fear or favour), simply as a roll call of who is actually left running our club. Under what constitution/doctrine/legal framework is the club run? We are going off topic now, but still very interested. Mr Inde No, I'm not implying that Graham resigned. I am though, implying that he has resigned not only for personal reasons, but for internal board level political reasons. Let me be a bit more blunt. I believe (and I've heard stories from very good sources) that he doesn't like how the club is being run by the President ie: in a dictatorial way. As for the current directorship... here's what the website says: Board of Directors Club President & Director for Seniors - George Giannaros Club Secretary - Peter Phillips Treasurer - Arthur Balayannis Director - Chris Tsioulos Director - Peter Englezos Director - Mark Bosnich Not very good reading...... Like I say... 'WHAT YOU SOW YOU SHALL REAP'. phoenix i think you should be even more blunt than that. for sake of argument i dont have any idea who these people are and whether theyre good or bad. you keep talking destruction and closing the club down and this and that, is there something wrong with the board? can you explain please what is wrong with the people on the board? are they taking peoples money? are they turning people away from games? are they denying people the opportunity to help the club? all i keep hearing is rhetoric and no substance please explain because i want to understand

are they turning people away from games? are they denying people the opportunity to help the club? all i keep hearing is rhetoric and no substance please explain because i want to understand Some of them HAVE turned some good friends and relatives of mine away from games. Some of them HAVE driven away good volunteers who have poured HOURS AND HOURS AND DAYS ON END for the club. I think you need to do some reading. Please pm me your email address and I will send you some reading material that will open your eyes to a lot of what has happened and is continuing to happen.

Fuck me dead, The President Didnt lodge a complaint? Why the fuck not? Are we scared of 1 or 2 rogue reporters? Lets do what they do in Greece, grafis malakies, tros ena heri ksilo, lets see how long they keep writing dribble after that. And dont give me shite that Im violent, because lets see who has the balls to take other challenge, take the newspaper/reporter to court for defamation in a civil case, ie 50k upfront just in legal fees. Kapish.
The President should act like one, it disappoints me that the CLUB is pushing away its fans. The more fans we push away, the more we will become like Bankstown, no fans and ultimately no Team.
Vendettas and malakies will be our downfall. If just once we could be united, we can do something, if not, we are just wasting our time.

Pheonix, your argument is flawed and off topic. I think you need to take a chill regroup and start working out how we are going to help or let it go.
Waiting for news to have a snide comment puts a damper or your great past, don't ruin that for your ego.

In the past 7 months we have had 6 directors resign.
Doesn't this ring alarm bells?
Now, if the club is being run like a dictatorship then sometimes that can work. But if fellow directors are putting in time and effort and in some cases big cash and in the end still have no voice then what do you expect them to do?

OK what doesnt ring alarm bells is as follows: - creation of the olympic ultras and all that comes with them - school holiday camps - new offices - new website - newsletter weekly - 21 year leases - proper season pass cards and membership cards All positives! Now with relation to these alarm bells from some directors leaving, you can easily fill up a board with non-olympic people but is that the way it should be done?

Alot of people will question that a board the size of 10 is way to big? would you agree, if you are going to help a club does not mean you have to be on a board right? the people on the board should really be there to cover any short falls

And I read it then and my conclusion was that you weren't making much sense.
Can you please explain and to everyone what you're talking about? For months now all I keep reading is 'the cancer will spread' and 'all will be revealed'; can you explain why you feel that you're right in what you're saying please? Because without explaining yourself all it looks like is someone whinging on a forum
