True - this is the problem of relying too much on a Marquee player. It is not a long term strategy. Building and getting your roots into the community is a true long term strategy. Look at Olympic in the 90's and early 2000's. Greek Community of approximately 140,000 in Sydney - average crowd - about 6 or 7,000. HAKOA - Sydney about 5 million people - average crowd of 11,000 odd. |
