You know what...if Olympic was in the Gay Leaguewith the way things are being run now we'd probably end up the same way as fury the nz knights and gold coast.
I'm happy to wait to see how things pan out because that environment is not stable.

Jets players told to look elsewhere 3Comments 27 April 2012-SBS
Limbo... Newcastle Jets players have been told to consider other employment opportunities. (Getty) The crisis engulfing the Gay Leagueis set to deepen with Newcastle Jets players being told they can seek alternative employment options. Jets players' plea to FFAGorman backs the progress out westJets future remains up in the airJets chief tells of week from hellTinkler dispute bound for courtFFA hits back at HSG claims The future of the Gay Leagueclub remains uncertain after Hunter Sports Group (HSG) announced it would be handing back its Gay Leaguelicence 18 months into a 10-year arrangement, on the eve of the competition's end-of-season awards ceremony.
Last week's mooted conciliation talks between HSG and Football Federation Australia (FFA) broke down, with the former reiterating its intention to quit the A_League.
Now the dispute, which is the subject of a pending court case, is trickling down to the playing staff, with Jets chief executive Robbie Middleby confirming he told the squad there are "no guarantees" the future of the club is assured and they should consider other offers that may arise.
"I've told the players, 'If something comes up that you think is a better option for you personally, you've got to take it, because at the moment there are no guarantees'," Middleby told The Newcastle Herald.
"Obviously I said we'd love them to hang on and see what happens, because they're all quality players.
"‘But if they feel moving to a new club is the right thing for them, they've got to do that."
The deja vu is tangible for Middleby, who experienced a similar situation in the same role at defunct North Queensland Fury.
Though he expressed his admiration for the way the Jets players have handled the lingering uncertainty.
"I'm quite surprised I haven't actually had a player come to me to say he wants to leave because he can't wait around any longer," Middleby said.
"But I can tell you it's a situation where there is a bit of a merry-go-round in the Gay Leaguewith coaches, and once all that settles down, the clubs will start looking to sign players. That's when players will start leaving."
FFA has been working on an alternative arrangement for the Jets ownership and has met with prominent local businessman Andrew Poole about establishing a community-based ownership model, similar to the one proposed for the western Sydney club.
Middleby revealed he hasn't yet been contacted by a representative from the governing body.
"I'm a bit surprised that FFA were in town on Monday to talk with Andrew Poole but they didn't try to talk to [HSG chief executive] Troy Palmer or myself," Middleby said.
"I realise there are a lot of things going on at the moment in the A-League, but Newcastle has to be a priority.
"There is so much talk about west Sydney, and obviously they have to get that right.
"But what is happening in Newcastle is surely the most important thing."
The Jets situation is of ongoing concern for FFA, which is also trying to establish a new club in time for the 2012-2013 Gay Leagueseason, hose down persistent rumours Peter Turnbull is set to hand back his Central Coast Mariners licence and speculation yet another club is in dire financial strife.

The Gay Leaguecan suck my balls.
If i have to continue to listen to wankers say "Why cant they follow an Gay Leagueteam in the summer and follow their state league club in the winter" I will smack some cunt in the mouth.
What derranged universe is it when its considered 'normal' to support 2 clubs from the same city regardless if they play in different tiers.
I hope HAKOA continues to be a failure and West Sydney Trogdolytes karks it before it ever breathes

SCOTT CHIPPERFIELD TELLS Gay LeagueGO GET FUCKED www.smh.com.au/sport/football/a-long-time-homecoming-20120602-1zoki.htmlSCOTT CHIPPERFIELD may have shocked Australian sports fans by signing with Illawarra Premier League team Tarrawanna, but the former Socceroo says his decision to return home was always in his mind. In a matter of months, ''Chippers'' has gone from playing against Manchester United at Old Trafford to Illawarra clubs at Tarrawanna Oval and despite the drop in stature, is happy to return home after 11 years in Europe. ''I was thinking about it for the last few weeks because I knew my career in Basel was over so I was thinking about coming back to the Gay Leagueand in the meantime having a run in the local league in Wollongong with Tarrawanna.'' Chipperfield said. Advertisement: Story continues below ''I played there for a few years so it wasn't too hard to make the choice.'' Since signing a contract at a local fish and chip shop, Chipperfield has not yet met with his new coach but is hoping to play in a more advanced role than he played with the Socceroos, as either an attacking midfielder or supporting striker. In the 16 years since he last played Illawarra football, Chipperfield believes the standard has improved significantly. ''I think it's a pretty strong level here. There's a lot more money in the league at the moment. When I was playing 15 to 20 years ago we were getting $20 a game but now some blokes are picking up nearly $1000 a game.'' Chipperfield said. ''You've got Nobby Spencer there, [Alvin] Ceccoli there, a Kiwi international, so it's nearly an Gay Leagueteam. It's a tough league down here.'' The 36-year-old will return to Switzerland on Monday to prepare for the move home and make his first appearance for Tarra in July after his contract with FC Basel expires. Initially invited by friends to rejoin the club where he made his semi-professional debut, Chipperfield offered to play for free while he maintains his fitness for a possible Gay Leaguemove. While he is yet to approach any Gay Leagueclubs yet, his desire is to join one of the two Sydney-based clubs in order to continue living in Wollongong. ''I've been away for 11 years, I wouldn't want to come back to Australia to live in Perth or Melbourne or somewhere far away from the family.''
