worts crowd in a cross city derby for them ever the downspiral continue brissi had a shocker of a crowd but they reported a bs high figure big losers and financials losers hurt no mater what fasard you put on paoktzi, you seem to have an awful lot of 'inside sources' and know a lot about crowd figures and what the actual figure it was. Stop talking crap. Some of the stuff you post, is absolutely ludicrous. What do you mean, that the weather is irrelevant? Bar the most avidly supported leagues in the world, weather will always have the final effect on a crowd figure. Seriously mate, that comment is just amusing to say the least. The North QLD Fury game did actually have 6,000 pre-sold tickets. It was reported by Fox Sports, and was reported in the Townsville Bulletin. The publicity that the North QLD and Newcastle are producing in their respective regions, has the makings to re-invigorate crowd numbers. And TBH, I am sure it will.

ella mikey it helps when you know personally nation wide football journos, dont believe the propaganda mate
The weather is iirelevant is the game means something to people they will go regardless, stop with the excuses, no one blamed rain and other gay factors during the NSL days, why now?
Fury geting 4,000 is not good they need 8000 paying to break even, if you get 4k then your losing big money and no business can stay around for long when losing big dollars.
Newcastle has a fresh start will see in a couple of years what happens, i hope it does take off up there because newcastle belong in national football comp as do olympic

I will not support Olympic if it was rebranded in such a way.

JUST FOR EVERYONE INFO a post on this issue on greeksoccer.com forum ____________________________________________________ A few questions that need clearing up: - Why were Parramatta Power and Northern Spirit failures despite being "wog free" environments? - Why were Perth Glory and Adelaide United's crowds better in the NSL than HAL? - Why can't any "new football journalist" actually pinpoint event(s) of ethnic violence, all I read is <ethnic violence that dogged years gone by blah blah> but there is never is any reference to an actual event(s) it's an insulting sensationalist News Ltd style cop out. - Why is there no mention that ethnic teams were minority for the last 6 years of the NSL? Yet ethnicities and the NSL's dark last days supposedly go hand in hand? - Only the root of three ethnic nationalities remained in the last 10 years of the NSL. Italian, Croatian and Greek. Is there anyone out there who can rationally justify a reason why each one of these nationalities would have a "beef" with another? - Why is violence in the Gay Leaguelabelled as "just boys being boys" (quoting ernie merrick). - Why do current proponents of the HAL point and wave the finger at non-attendees of the HAL. Sprouting that if you really loved the game would attend. More so, I guess my question is, are these people ignorant of the term hipocracy. ____________________________________________________
