Vignal joins Greece's Atromitos

Former Liverpool defender Gregory Vignal has signed a one-year contract with Atromitos Athens, the Greek first division club announced.
The 29-year-old French fullback spent last at Birmingham City.
He began his career with Montpellier before joining Liverpool in 2000 and spent three years at Anfield.
The well-travelled Vignal has also played for Bastia, Rennes, Espanyol, Rangers, Portsmouth, Lens, Kaiserslautern and Southampton.
He made four appearances for the France Under-21 team and also represented the French Under-20 national team on nine occasions.
