Clubs Of The Century
* Europe - Real Madrid CF (Spain) *
South America - CA Penarol Montevideo (Uruguay)
* Africa- Asante Kotoko FC Kumasi (Ghana) *
Asia - Al-Hilal FC Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)
* Central and North America - CD Saprissa San Juan de Tibas San Jose (Costa Rica) * Oceania - South Melbourne FC (Australia)
SMFC is on the cusp of another historic moment in Australian football.
Currently, FIFA is at advanced stages of holding an international cup style tournament next year with the Team of the Century of each confederation
All clubs have agreed with the exception of Real Madrid due to their busy calendar

Pity that they aren't in the top flight. They are going to get raped.

Still the point of them playing against a club like real madrid proves this is one of Australia' biggest clubs and not to be in the top flight for political reasons is insane and malicious to the game in OZ

Firstly,
Well done too SMH for their achievement. The simple reason that SMH is club of the century, deservedly, is because they are a true Club that has achieved great results over many years.
What we see today in the Gay Leagueis a collection of private teams and corporate organisations, there are no clubs.
They will aim to win or not win the title only if there is bottom line financial gain. (what I am saying here is that if theoretically more money could be made from not winning rather than winning the title, I can see most Gay Leagueteam owners taking this path, we can see this example with Gold Coast capping crowd to keeps costs down) where as a Club will always aspire to winning the league first and then worrying about the bottom line.
Well done SMH, to everyone else, look and learn.
