Oden are you blaming tseka for the greek goverment soft cock approach to the issue? Kon12 you are the smartest one on the forum dont listen to the tsopanoi Paoktzi, I'm going to put it in very simple terms to you brother. 1. Call me a tsopani again and it will be the worst mistake of your life. 2. If you read what i wrote i didnt insult anybody. I just called KON12 thick.. i didnt abuse you or call you names. 3. I know you are a realestate agent so anything that doesnt involve rent or property you are a bit slow with. What tsekanis did in the eyes of many people is on level par with a greek saying that the turks had every right to have had greece occupied for 400 years and that they should do it again. Now.. atm Greece is at a crossroads in its history. With the vote for kosovo to be independant there has been a precident shown that if a small part of an already existing country wants to be independant it can put a vote to it. This gives the skops a large upper hand when it comes to the rights of the history and the name of makedonia...if by some way makedonia is lost to the skops .. the turks will call for a vote for THRACE and then Crete will jump up and down and call for independance ( like they've been doing for the past several years). This situations can become dire to greece. Worse case scenario is greece lose our gem makedonia.. then CRETE .. THEN THRACE.. THEREFORE (this is were i need you to pay attention) GREECE CAN BE LEFT WITH ONLY ITS ISLANDS (which we were thinking of selling off to pay debt) AND STERIA ELLADA. THEN WE ARE TRULY FUCKED. ^^ The points illustrated above are one of the many reasons this topic is a sore point but seeing as were all "tsopania" it dont matter what we say or what our opinon is. Only that Tseka is back and hes gonna win us trophies. Well im glad you can sell your diginity and self respect for the motherland for a fucken NSWPL championship but i can't and most of the boys won't either! |

Sorry guys but I think we should all take a step back. Peter Tsekenis has been appointed coach by the club. He is our coach. If anyone has an issue with Peter Tsekenis or his appointment I think they should contact the club and express their issues. I would expect this sort of contact to be addressed from whichever individual has the concerns. To drag the Ultras into a personal agenda would be a lowly act. After people do make contact, it would be interesting then to discuss what they said to the club, and what kind of response they received. Personally, I dont think that this is the time or the place to draw connections between our club and Greece's crossroads. Does anyone else think that it would be best to give this thread a rest until we heard from people who wanted to raise their concerns with the club first and let us know what happened after that? |

Anothermp. I agree with you mate. He is a brillant coach.. he has done nothing me as a person .. but his actions towards olympic and greeces heritage .. this is were the problem lies. Other than that he is a born winner when it comes to coaching. I just want Paoktzi to apolgise for insulting me .. let me remind you this isnt the old olympic fourm were HP's were acceptable .. this fourm and group were created to bring olympic back into the limelight not for every wog and his dog to swear at each other on the intrenet .. if we want that we can just join greekplanet ( sorry jj  ) |

Yeah, I think this should be given a break, it's opening old wounds and people's passion is clouding judgment and turning friend against friend.
The facts are that Tsekenis did chant "Makedonija" with skopianoi, and he also did an SBS interview wearing a t-shirt with the star of Vergina on a red background. Personally, I don't think he should have chanted with them, I don't care if it's the team chant, it is an insult to his culture and while I don't think he should have stopped it, he should have stood by and let them carry on but not participate.
As for the red shirt...Macedonians and Spartans share common blood, they are both of the Dorian race and like the Spartans the Macedonians had Red as their primary colour. Historically the Star of Vergina was always on a red background but what people don't realise is that the symbol and the red background are exclusively Greek. Unfortunately because the colours of Greece are blue and white we have put the Vergina Star on a blue background to emphasise it's Greek origin even though it should be on a red one.
Given these facts, Tsekenis was wearing the true colours of Greek Macedon, but to any common person it would be associated with FYROM, therefore he shouldn't have worn it either.
I agree that he should probably apologise, but I doubt many people actually remember it so it would probably open old wounds.
As for this topic, we all need to calm down and continue to work in the best interests of the Club and the Ultras. We haven't come all this way to break it up now.

im telling you the REASON WHY PEOPLE ARE UPSET WITH TSEKAS! DO YOU GET IT NOW THAT IS THE REASON WHY TSEKA HAS OFFENDED OLYMPIC CAUSE IT IS A MAJOR SORE POINT WITH GREEK PEOPLE. (REMEMBER OLYMPIC IS A GREEK CLUB!)

We have all the opinions we need about Tsekenis already and there are no new ideas being contributed. On top of that the topic has been hijacked and there are more personal attacks than comments regarding Tsekenis' appointment.
