I remember this game it was on OKI JUBILEE OVAL it was OTTO Rehalgan came to Australia Sydney
On Sunday the eve of the game Phoenix Athenian Bulldogs Endless Passion Peaker If I miss a few Sorry.
We all met at Beverly Hills Hotel then we went to Athenian Bulldogs House Paints sheets creating banners that you seen in the photos it was long hours.
The supporters committee like myself came early the next day it was public holiday Anzac day we were preparating each person had duties to do.
We were selling t shirts front T shirt was our HELLAS FLAG at the front with Sydney Olympic emblem on the right.
We had problems with FOOTBALL NSW match inspector they weren't let us sell the shirts at Jubilee oval then Phoenix started telling him it is not fair when Rockdale city had our Vergina Edessa campaigning sending signatures to football NSw as protest for our Vergina.
By force Endless Passion and few of us had lift the table all that trouble had to take the shirts outside at the front gate entry.
Game day The skops came they were the other side coming hours later King Otto Rehalgen greeting the players both teams.
We had DJ out side we had our spot.
The moment I will never forget was the Theo Sass I was sitting next to him with Jimmy Jump and our Old supporters like Bolts .
I will never forget Banks town City Official we called him colomal Sanders form kFc looks like him he stuck the finger to us.
Theo SASS said was upset he looked at Us he said RIGHT he walked up he reached him we didn't know what he said I asked him what did you say to him?? I said If does it again I will break that finger.
It was great day we won Something happened Langston Supporters were running back someone reckons they threw flair.
when we won we were celebrating the players and Mike Urakalo came saluting us thank us for supporting on the day I jumped over the fence hugging and congratulating them they made us the Olympic fans proud.
DJ was putting PSAHALIS TREZIS ZHITO TA PALIO PAIDAI ZHTO EINAI ELLAS.
Then the skops came knocking down the bins throwing Plastic bottles the security MIPS locked the gates were locked guarding so no skops can come pass police officers trying to clear it was like bowing arrows flyng but lucky there were plastic.
I still see it even today t there were more bottles I will never never forget BOLTS grabbed his left hand he was about to throw it three police officers grabbing him trying to stopped.
It was out of control something tells there were cameraman camering he was for the Otto visiting Lucky he left early
This young kid started to cry he was looking for his dad I knew the kids father.
Tom Doumanis were the President FNSW Stratos telling him of how disgraise It was.
Athenian Bulldogs wanted to go across the road and deck them all.
It took hours to calming things down the police were escorting them it is like there wiere goats going the directions.
EX President Jim Kospeats he was upset he was fuming he left the ground .
While myself and the Supporters committee we had to stay back for cleaning up.
Thrillos(Nick) was the scretery that time with the Bankstown city Director who ever position talking about in-case the media reports it was like two diplomats Tom Doumanis iN the middle
Football NSW fined Sydney Olympic Fc I did;NT know how much it wasthe reason it was our home ground it was our clubs responsibility.
Kograh council did;NT want our team to play anymore .
There were helicopter it made it to the Update news.
I receive a call from my parents and my uncle if I was Alright It made it to the Late News.
The next day the Telegraph 2 pages Ethnic tension w hen we See Tim when he was official someone took photo when one of our fans threw the flair when we scored the winning goals he picked up.
I had the shits in my office I argue few people instead they write our team they criticize us.
Opinion section from the rednecks column blaming us and our parents by Piers Ackerman.I ripped with my bad temper after work.
The only positive was the Leading News paper of the rear SYDNEY MORNING HERALD by Mick Corell he interview Otto Rehalgen It was good to see Mike walking to wards us and interviewing the Olympic fans Athenian Bulldogs spoke and Mrs Ultrasouth and Mike mentioned about the banners staying up late and everyone helped.
I do miss the fans The Olympic fans We all had laughs fund raising activities like bowling with Olympic players Tarvena nights at Anesi,Horo at Venus receptiion lounge With the late great Sir Johnny Warren Poker nights Pheonix emotional Video nights relieving Sydney Olympic and the NSL through the years at Hurl stone park at the Sydney Olympic social club

For me there were great moments.
It is very sad iI is like a rock band group split up
going our own ways.
