Sydney Olympic FC, Youth teams BACK TO BELMORE

After a long period of intense work and representation to the Board of FNSW and the FFA, today we are proud to announce that from the commencement of the 2011 season the Sydney Olympic FC Youth League Teams will be allowed to play our home matches from our historic and glorious home, Belmore Sports Ground.

The Board of Sydney Olympic FC are very proud to announce this today after tirelessly working in resolving this major issue faced by our club.

This is a victory for players, parents, sponsors, members and importantly for football development in Australia as Sydney Olympic FC has produced over 60 Socceroos and we will continue to lead the way in player development.

We also take this opportunity to invite all players and parents to our “Open Information Day” being held at Belmore Sports Ground on 16 October 2010 regarding the 2011 youth trials commencing the following day, 17 October 2010.

Guys this means a new canteen for the club!!! somethign they did not have last year!!!!

Plus the parents dont have to drive around sydney to play and it builds more club culture

Fantastic news for our YOUTHS which is very very important to our Club to develop players and becoming the superstars of tomorrow
Like myself and our Olympic fans We are all glad it is back to our home ground Bel more sports ground and it has been resolved
I congratulate the current Board Directors It is a great initiative

ela man, we don't care, you had your rant, most of us are actually sympathetic towards you, but complaining about the board to us, supporters of the club, who can't change what the board do, doesn't achieve anything...

agreed hey. and at the right time in the right way too mm!!

back on topic though this is really fantastic news for the club. I hope it will give kids in our YL an even greater chance to feel a sort of bond with the first team and with BSG
