Under 14s
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 1-2 (Half Time)
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 1-4 (Full Time)
The 14s had a 4-1 victory over Bankstown Lions at Jensen Park over the weekend. Bankstown came out with most of their players playing behind the ball and the boys struggled to break them down and our boys almost went a goal behind but were saved their blushes by a fantastic save from Eze Consoni.
In the 26th, Anthony Krkovski played a wonderful ball over the defense to Lachlan Huges who with his first touch set up Bai Antoniou to hit the first goal of the game. Unfortunately the goal was short lived and Bankstown equalized in the 27th. Just before half time the boys regained the lead when Lachlan Hughes and Anthony Krkovski worked together once more to set up Jay Jaskolski, 2-1 half time.
Two more goals came in the second half for SOFC 14’s. In the 37th Anthony Krkovski scored the third thanks to an assist from Steven Kuzmanovski and Max from the 13s came to play up a grade and was rewarded with scoring the fourth in the 55th.
A tough win, though good to keep the 100% record.
Under 16s
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 1-2 (Half Time)
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 1-3 (Full Time)
The Under 16s of Sydney Olympic started the game poor and were losing 1-0 in the first minute of the game.
The team though picked and showed some real character for the rest of the game. Our boys were able to answer back with two goals in the first half and one in the second half and ended up winning the game comfortable with 3-1.
A great effort by everyone and a well deserved win for a strong team that is looking to have a great season.

Under 18s
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 1-0 (Half Time)
Bankstown City vs Sydney Olympic 2-4 (Full Time)
On Sunday Sydney Olympic 18's played Bankstown City at Jensen oval Sefton. Once again we started off well, pushing the ball around and making inroads through the Bankstown defense. We dominated most of the first half but unfortunately went in at half time 1-0 down.
In the second half we stepped up the intensity and scored two goals in quick time. We played structured and controlled football. An encouraging factor was that combinations are starting to form well and we are playing good football. Every player stepped up and played their part. We ended up winning the game 4-2.
Next trial game for all teams on the last weekend before the competition officially commences, will be confirmed during the week and you will be informed by your team coach/manager.
