Famous Greek line ama me dis sto gipedo, na mou kopsis ti miti. jj isn't the only one with this thinking..... and as for the political stuff.. everyone knows that i'm not fussed about a player's background... but the Sydney Olympic Board was this year and is next year... so the club itself has made a political statement.. hence the stance taken by JJ and others. you are the most uninformed guy i have ever come across ever

1. Did Sydney Olympic openly say through their media mouthpiece "O KOSMOS" newspaper that they will actively push for more players of Greek background in their youth and senior sides?
YES.
2. Therefore, if Sydney Olympic is pushing a Greek agenda (please note that I don't have a problem with this SO LONG AS the club is successful on the field) then is it logical to suggest that some people will find it hard to accept Peter Tsekenis as coach considering some of his past actions that some would consider anti-Greek?
YES.
So, I am at a total loss as to why Sir Paoktzi calls me uninformed.
If Paoktzi only knew 50% of what I know about Olympic (on and off the field) then he would very very quickly realise how 'informed' I am.
Let's sing again shall we:
Ring-a-ring-a-rosey A pocket full of posies Atishou atishou We all fall down

i think what tsekenis did was morally wrong and should not have any and i mean ANY role in a Greek football club. From what jimmyjump has said about his actions are disgraceful and he sold himself out. He didnt have to chant with the blockheads, all he had to do was just stand there and watch. But by joining in with them he is just a lowlife scumbag like the rest of the greeks that call the blockheads macos.

This is how shit starts, some small mind takes an action out of context and tries to construct an argument around the perceived meaning of that action in order to justify and peddle their own agenda. Unfortunately Politics and Football are linked.....but not in this case. Mr Inde How am I Pushing my own agenda? I am merely expressing my opinion. I have not asked anyone to do anything. All I have stated is I wont be going to the games while Tseka is coach. I refuse to pay gate entry fees that goes to Tseka's wages, because If I do,then I legitimise his actions. Sorry, some lines I dont cross, some morals I dont break. I have not gone to the Greek media, nor will I. How is Tseka's actions out of context? Please explain.

jj isn't the only one with this thinking..... ye ok him and nikitaras why you make it out like its the whole of sydney for? ...& I can name at least 15 friends of mine who were & are still disgusted in Tsekenis for his xeftila on Greeks. You see, there are still Greeks who aren't sellouts & still care for our true Macedonia. Martin Templar, a famous scholar, & ex US appointed Balkan diplomat, who has written so much against the Skopjiano propaganda will be talking on the issue of Macedonia & skopjiani this Thursday at 7pm at the AHEPA hall in Rockdale. It's not for me to advertise this, but this non Greek is more Greek than the majority of the people on this forum..I suggest Tsekenis & his band of followers attend to see 1st hand how their actions here in the diaspora can affect Greece & support the skopjiani. You guys don't realise that the skopjiani who are recognised as Republic of Macedonia by 129 countries worldwide, would have had nowhere near this result if it wasn't for the strength of the Skopjiani diaspora in Australia & Canada. Unfortunately, as shown on this forum, the Greek diaspora is very very weak. I hope however this is a generalisation of mine, as I expect most on this forum to be 2nd, 3rd & maybe 4th generation Australian/Greeks who probably only know how to say pappou & giagia in Greek, hence their indifference to this issue would explain alot.

Nikitaras supporting Sydney Olympic does not make us sell outs mate, this is our club who is in a time of need the last 5 years have not been good for our club at all. Having little membership and low crowd attendances for a historic club like SOFC is not good enough, the ultras were formed to push good things along and raise the profile amongst the youth before we lose them all to sydney city. Now the club has done many good things recently, including an appointment of a club hero and an ex-olyroo. We need to get behind the club and get these 15 people of yours back invovled because unless we are invovled then things you dont like will continue to happen. What we are saying is, if he did it or not is irrelevant, the issue is SOFC is a much bigger place then one person and if we are not there for the club then its nothing. Imagine if there little community can push things along how much we can push the issue if we wanted to? But if the club only has 250 members what can we push nothing? So nikitaras and jummiyjump i respect you both as long time olympic fans and everyone is entitled to there opinion but your stand what good is going to come of it that is what I ask?
