How is Tseka's actions out of context? Please explain. If you can't see how you are taking this action out of context, it's probably better you don't come to the games. All I know, is that I support SOFC, not individual coaches, not players, not board members, not political agendas outside the scope of SOFC. Mr Inde Answer the question please. I dont want an essay on the FYROM issue, just answer a simple question. As for you people who go around saying I support the board etc etc, wake up to yourselves. If the board decides to move the club to Perth for example, would you speak out, or just accept it because the BOARD decided whats best for us fans? What if the board said you need to jump of the Harbour Bridge to get your memberships? Dont be sheep, use your brains if any of you have them. As for not going to the games, its my statement to the board that I am disgusted it its decision. I hate the board my than I hate Tsekenis. Tsekenis can do what he wants, its the Board who see his actions. As for thinking that me, nikitaras are the ones only who are against it, you guys need a reality check. NOT EVERY FAN uses this forum, I know of many people who refuse to go to the games who ARE NOT members of this forum. The message the Board is sending out, you can shit on Olympic, but we accept shit. Now here is a very simple question. How many people will attend Olympic's game, or how many less will attend due to Tseka's appointment as coach? |

Famous Greek line ama me dis sto gipedo, na mou kopsis ti miti. jj isn't the only one with this thinking..... and as for the political stuff.. everyone knows that i'm not fussed about a player's background... but the Sydney Olympic Board was this year and is next year... so the club itself has made a political statement.. hence the stance taken by JJ and others. Bingo, which further backs my point about NOT being out of context as MrInde states. |

1. Did Sydney Olympic openly say through their media mouthpiece "O KOSMOS" newspaper that they will actively push for more players of Greek background in their youth and senior sides? YES. 2. Therefore, if Sydney Olympic is pushing a Greek agenda (please note that I don't have a problem with this SO LONG AS the club is successful on the field) then is it logical to suggest that some people will find it hard to accept Peter Tsekenis as coach considering some of his past actions that some would consider anti-Greek? YES. So, I am at a total loss as to why Sir Paoktzi calls me uninformed. If Paoktzi only knew 50% of what I know about Olympic (on and off the field) then he would very very quickly realise how 'informed' I am. Im sure if the Ultras saw several of Tsekenis outbusts towards us they will be like jimmy jump and some of the older guys on this forum Tsekenis is a malaka as a south melbourne supporter i cant stand eddie krencevic (he is now our coach). i will support south melbourne as a club and its players but i will never cheer for or respect eddie. as someone who admires olympic (as a club) and its supporters if i was to move to sydney and follow olympic i would never cheer for tsekenis or respect him and even if he was to apologise for his actions i would never ever forgive him. And these two people? |

JJ ur putting in way too much effort to make a redundant point, how about getting your mates onto the forum?
The point is redundant because the battle on the Macedonia question has been fought, and Sydney Olympic simply isn't in a position to exert any meaningful influence on the issue.
As for attending games when attendance is at current levels, the main outcome is that the club is hamstrung by it's own supporter base. On the one hand people are upset by how the club is run, on the other they just pull out instead of work through the issue.
From positions of power can change be effected. Only if we are strong can we promote and protect our identity in the way it deserves
