Everyone my fellow young Olympic ultras a former Sydney Olympic Player & coach who took Sydney Olympic to the Grand Final beating Perth Glory winning 1-0 and winning our second premiership Gary Phillips he was also a development officer at Sydney Olympic.
I would like share especially our young Fans to have read.

Welcome I hope you got out to the FIFA Coca Cola Cup games and supported Australia It was good to see the crowds really get behind the young Socceroos and didn't they perform well against some class opposition.what about our own Peter Tsekenis? For my money, he was one of our stars
You will recall my last story about Tommy Docherty well continuing our series on the Doc's life and times, we find now ourselves at the Gold coat on the Saturday evening before a Sunday fixture against Brisbane Lions.
The travel ling squad had no less than six teenagers. A couple of seventeen years olds,a couple of eighteen years old, Tony Spyridakos, myself and a fifteen year old named Chris Kalantzis. We all met at the motel restaurant for dinner just after arrival an being youngsters we were all pretty hungry , but we thought we had better wait for the Doc' to arrive before ordering, just in case we weren't allowed to eat certain foods on the night before a very important game. So we just ordered some drinks, but on the table we noticed some house wine, and we were all pretty keen to try some. But If we got caught drinking, especially the night before the game we would be history!
A couple of minutes later the Doc"arrived, he walked around the players table making sure everyone was ok " Order what you like" he said.When the Doc' got to our table he paused, picked up the carafe of house wine, we all began to sweat because It was half empty.
" Excuse me waitress," the Doc' queried. " What this house wine? We're not drinking this, Bring out the bottled wine!!"
