Minus the talent as well. The crowds won't be great, because in South v Olympic it'll essentially be the two jerseys vs eachother. The quality of football will still be the same as the current NSWPL. I guess it's better than nothing if it eventuates.

MY LATEST ARTICLE ON THIS MATTER GUYS - MAKE SURE YOU ALL CLICK LIKE www.theroar.com.au/2010/11/03/canberra-and-tasmania-your-time-is-now/Canberra, Tasmania, your time is now So the NSWPL has been moved to a summer competition and will kick-off in September 2011. There’s much excitement amongst NSWPL fans as a summer competition is better for all the clubs. Some of the NSWPL clubs are looking heavily at bringing some overseas stars to feature in the competition, and with much larger crowds, the clubs will be better financed. It does not stop there. The latest talk doing the rounds is that Melbourne Knights and South Melbourne are one step away from entering there first-grade sides in this competition as they feel that re-ignition of old traditional Australian football rivalries will bring more life back into their clubs. So with the competition rumored to be expanding to 14 sides, the time is now for Tasmania and Canberra to show themselves. Fans on internet forums have continuously spoken of their desire for these potential clubs to join the Australian football scene. Has there ever been a better opportunity? A 16-team competition with new teams from Canberra, Tasmania and the former top flight giants in South Melbourne (Oceania team of the century) and Melbourne Knights would then be a second tier competition that will cost the sport little or no money because, as has been done for the last 50 or so years, these clubs will pay their way. Will the FFA let this happen? Come on FFA, prove that you are not really A-League-agenda driven as most of the fans perceive you to be. Finally to Tasmania and Canberra, your the time is now to stand up and prove your worth on the Australia football scene and maybe bigger and better things can come from there on.
