Sydney Olympic Under 20’s Coach for 2011 Season posted by on November 24, 2010 Sydney Olympic would like to announce Dean Mangnall as the Under 20’s coach for the 2011 Season. Dean was extremely happy after his appointment and said to the Sydney Olympic media: “I am a consistent high achiever striving to be the benchmark in my chosen profession. I will do my best to succeed this season with a historic Club like Sydney Olympic.” Dean is a holder of a Senior License and is also a Certified English Football Association Coach. He has worked with a number of Clubs the past few years including Sydney University where he had some impressive achievements with 19 straight wins in 2009 and also reached the minor semi Final in 2010 with the Under 18’s. He has also coached various levels in the previous years at Hurstville Zagreb FC, St George FC and Eastern Suburbs Soccer Football Association. The Board of Sydney Olympic would like to wish Dean all the best in the 2011 Season and hope he is able to meet his personal expectations but also the expectations of www.sydneyolympicfc.com/news/2010/11/24/sydney-olympic-under-20s-coach-for-2011-season/

This coach quit the Uni 18's around the 6th round last year. Another coach from Apia took over the team. This coach isn't a very popular boy around Syd Uni. I don't know why he left but it definitely was early in last years season. He didn't take any team to the semi finals last year. Not criticizing, just the facts.

paoktzi, I know some of the boys, not all. I hope there are future Socceroos in the squad. I'll be cheering for them even if they were all patates. Go Olympic !

No one wanted the job Dean only wanted the Under 20's
I predict a top 3 finish for under 20's!
