Ian Ramsey has been transfered to Adelaide United yesterday from Olympic, because of this malakia FFA sydney olympic will only receive $3,000. He will be replacing Scott Jamiseons spot at Left Back. Ian is a great kid and he loved his time at olympic, we wish him all the best. Will eh cut it in the Gay Leaguewho knows www.sydneyolympicfc.com/news/2010/07/20/ian-ramsay-transferred-to-adelaide/One of the favourite boys of the Olympic team has left our Club to move on in his career by signing a deal with Adelaide United. Ian left Australia as a teenager to play for Gretna in Scotland. He played youth and reserve team at Raydale Park but never made the first team and returned to Australia. In 2008 he joined Sydney Olympic in the NSW Premier League and played in 13 games for the Blue’s. This season Ian has played 16 games for Olympic and has scored 1 goal. The Board of Sydney Olympic and all his teammates here at Belmore, would like to wish Ian all the best in his future career and everyone will be cheering for him in the future. We sincerely thank Ian for his contribution to the Club both as a player but also for his excellent behaviour off the field. We are looking forward to seeing you back at Belmore with the Blue and White jersey someday Ian!

He has played with us in the last 3 seasons, and has always tried his hardest, despite sometimes not making much impact, he played for the badge on the jersey. I hope he develops further at Adelaide, and comes back to play for Olympic in the off season.

Good luck to the kid, like you said he always seemed to play fr the shirt and the badge and we owe Jim the greatest respect for that.
Corica and muscat at 500years old each are good enough fr Gay Leaguewhy wouldn't Ramsey? I'm sure he'll be dine.
I hope he gets a good break before he's thrown in, he deserves a rest and will perform better for his new team if he gets one.
All the best aain and we hope to see you soon in our colours!
