I wonder what the supporters are going to be like this season.
Every year the atmosphere is a little tense between the two clubs.
I don't mind the rivalry but when some of them turn up just looking for a fight, it spoils the day and the potential atmosphere that the two sets of supporters can generate.
If Olympic and Sydney United can move on and focus on a vocal rivalry both clubs would most likely see an increase in crowd size on those match days.
Then we can put even more pressure on the FFA to consider applications from both clubs to be admitted into the A-league.
I would argue for Marconi as well, but they don't have the support that they used to. Olympic and United are the only two clubs from the NSL days which have retained some sort of support.

The Kosmos is pretty good in that regard, they find out all the rumours and etc before a lot of Club supporters find out for themselves.

The Ufuk thing has been a rumour for a few weeks now. Nothing has been confirmed and Ufuk is having a "farewell" soon after announcing his retirement. I'll believe it when I see it
