SUS, welcome. If I had my way, Sydney United would be in the Gay Leaguewith Olympic. The rest the original wog clubs would be there too.

honestly.... delusions of gradure much from you kids? we had our time at the top, we wouldnt survive in top flight football these days. if anything us in the state league has extended our time in football in australia. i dont know the ins and outs but from what ive read you lot should be listening to people like sydneyolympian and pheonix. they made some valid points, dont dismiss what they say.

kon12, Firstly I would say that soccer in this country will never be the No1 sport. The media and the other major codes have in for soccer in Australia, especially the media. I would go back to the state league competitions in each state. First past the post would be the champions, no grand final. The 2 top teams in each state would go on to a national competition ( knock out comp )with the top 2 from all the other states which would finish with a grand final. In my opinion, this set up you would pull more crowds overall than the A-league. Some games would bring in big crowds. I know one thing for sure, most soccer people won't support HAKOA. Ask any long time supporter from any club and they'll say " I won't support Sydney City ". I'll listen to any idea about improving soccer in this country and maybe my idea is nonsense but I'm open to suggestion.
