I am not threatening you guys thats just internet talk I am a keyboard warrior ;D... but its pretty poor form to pick on kids who are there to support there team. If us older guys were there no chance any croats would have said a thing or done anything |

There was quite a few Olympic supporters there which was evident when the 3rd goal was scored. Regardless, who said Olympic fans were going to belt u guys? no need for trouble thats for the dinosaurs - most Croats are ok and good blokes but theres always that small boxhead minority. Just like the bankstown kids that talk tough but when we confront them they go quiet. |

Agree with mini. When you look up and see 30 or so people you don't stop and check to see who's hostile. In our heads you were all hostile.

Kon, no Serbs are going to come to our game. In my eyes they are all boxheads anyway.
Kingjim, we welcome any and all the old boys to join us on match day. But since the OU was brought into existance they didn't want anything to do with us, so I don't see why that would change now.
In my personal opinion the only reason why the United supporters had a dummy spit and wanted to intimidate us was because Olympic took all three points. Looking back, I can't help but smile when I remember that you guys started chanting "You only sing when you are winning" when the only times that you guys were chanting was when the scores were even.
Did we out-chant you guys, yes and no. We definitely chanted for a larger portion of the 90 minutes than you guys, but you guys would have been louder considering your numbers.

Actually, the times when we chanted the most would have been immediately after falling behind. But, overall, we were more concerned about abusing Tseka and Papoythis. PP didnt take it too well. Our chant about singing when you were winning was more in regards to the fact that you'd go quiet for a bit after copping an equaliser. Like you said, your chanting was way more consistent over the 90 minutes. We only chanted in bursts here and there. But it's a bit far-fetched to claim that you were louder than us considering there was only 5/10 of you and twice as many of us. Our "active" support is largely dead.... that's in terms of consistent, week in-week out, 90 minutes type support. We spend most of our home games abusing the opposition. Hence why we're just "Sydney United Supporters" these days. ie. it's inclusive of everyone. There hasnt been an active group since the EPU's short-lived existance after they were all banned by the club early last season. However, a lot of us tend to make a lot more effort for organised away trips - that's where the fun is |
