Reason's
1. The quality is shit 2. I could see better gameplay at a HAKOA game 3. Alot of people work alot, not the same as here and we still get shit crowds
I doubt Hajduk or Dinamo gets over 20k on game day

I'm not claiming the HNL gets good crowds. Crowds in our league are atrocious as well. There are many reasons for it and the reasons would be similar to the ones in Serbia:
1. Poor quality 2. Shit stadiums 3. Potential for violence 4. Why bother if you can stay home and watch it? 5. Why bother when the EPL match of the week is on TV at the same time? 6. People have less disposable income. They work LESS and get paid less... I dont know where you get this outrageous claim that people dont attend games because they work on weekends. That's laughable.
Serbia's unemployment rate is at around 20% which means that there are easily over half a million people NOT working... People not going to games has nothing to do with them working lol.
Fact is that the average person in Serbia (and Croatia) just doesnt give a fuck for local football. No need to make up dumb excuses for the poor crowds, people just dont give a fuck. It's pretty simple

In all seriousness, football seemed a lot better when you were still Yugoslavia. I'm happy to be told I'm wrong.

A lot easier to look good when you've constantly got big games on and players arent allowed to leave the country before 27
Fuck Yugoslavia.
