He left because his opinion was that the Greek league was too much in favour of Olympiakos...In my opinion that's bullshit, he wanted to leave for other reasons and found that as an excuse....

I doubt that's true, only because PAO is in serious trouble at the moment and they are lacking a striker. It makes no sense for the club to let him go without having a replacement ready.
