Sydney United Head coach and Technical Director, Jean Paul De Marigny
Sydney United FC announced the appointment of the coaches for the 2012 Premier Youth League season.
The are:
Head coach and Technical Director, Jean Paul De Marigny, will oversee the coaching and development strategy he has envisioned for the club. “I came to the club with a simple plan, recruit the best young players available and give them the best coaching we can in order to produce players for the club and the country. I believe we have assembled some of the best available football people for this job, ones who are not only talented coaches but know exactly what it takes to become a professional footballer because they have been there.”
JP is a former professional player who represented Australia, former “A” league and NSWIS coach and holder of AFC “A” coaching licence.
Under 13’s: Ante Moric is a former Olyroo, NSL player and long time servant of the club.
Ante is looking forward to working with the 13’s. “I have been watching this age group for a number of months now and there is a lot of talented players out there. I’m looking forward to a very exciting season.”
Under 14’s: Davor Bajsic is a former Croatian Youth international who captained his country from the age of 13 to 18. He played at a professional level for 17 years. He was the coach of our 16’s team this year, who, it must be said, played an excellent brand of football. Davor’s philosophy is simple “I love to watch technically skilful players and a game where the ball is played on the ground, so, I try and teach my boys to play the same way” Davor is a holder of the UEFA “B” and AFC “B” coaching licence.
Under 15’s: Tony Krslovic, former Socceroo, long time NSL player, took the 14’s side mid season and is now looking to re-build. Tony is a dedicated coach who knows what is required to become a professional football player. He is looking forward to a fresh start and a successful 2012 season. Tony is a “Senior” coaching licence holder.
Under 16’s: Tony Sekulic. Tony is a former professional player in the NSL and German Bundesliga with the FSV Mainz 05 club. “My job is to help the club produce players for our senior squad and hopefully selling them on to clubs in a higher league. Ultimately, that is the purpose of our existence, to produce quality players” Tony is a UEFA “B” licenced coach.
Under 18’s: Erick Anabalon. Eric is a former NSL / NSW Premier League player and an up and coming young coach. He will take charge of a good young squad of players and is looking forward to the challenge. We would like to welcome Eric to our club and wish him all success in the coming season.
Under 20’s: Anthony Zmire, former professional player in the NSL and HNS (Croatian National league). Anthony is a holder of the AFC “B” coaching licence who is working hard to establish a professional coaching career. His job next year is to prepare his charges for first grade.
