Sydney Olympic FC Technical Director, Tom Alexakis has left his mark at Wolverhampton FC, dominating the sports section of the Wolverhampton Chronicle. Dubbed “Auzzie Tom”, Alexakis has earned much praise and recognition amongst the Wolverhampton community and has been somewhat of a celebrity amongst the football folk. The passionate Sydney Olympic FC Technical Director recently commenced the trials for the 2012 Sydney Olympic FC squads before embarking on a two week trip to Wolverhampton, where he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge by observing the training sessions and methods at Wolverhampton FC. Although Alexakis possesses a wealth of experience, having obtained both an Asian Football Federation A-Coaching License and an UEFA A Diploma, he continues to treasure his trips to Wolverhampton and praises the club for providing him with an opportunity to further his learning and football education. More importantly, Alexakis aims to pass on the knowledge he has accumulated at Wolverhampton to the Sydney Olympic FC squads upon his return and has been a proud ambassador for the historic Sydney Olympic Football Club throughout the duration of his stay at Wolverhampton.
