we played them in the cup this year and they actually bought a decent wee crowd with them. whether they can pulla regular crowd is yet to be seen.

yeah Spartans have moved to Blacktown Olympic venue I thought? because Hills Brumbies are at Gabbie too in Super League
the pitch at Olympic village is synthetic from what ive heard too

"Our new facility has commenced building stage. Millions of tons of earth are being moved to make way for our Offices and Meeting rooms, player areas and canteen. The main field will be a "state of the art" synthetic surface which will allow matches in all weather conditions. Two other fields will be constructed as part of Stage One with other fields coming on line as funds permit. Fully lit to competition standard, all fields will give the BDSFA a great home ground for many years to come. We will keep members updated as construction progresses and our new gallery will soon be up with photos."
