Bottom line is some of these life members think that they are bigger than thr club so big they have not stepped near the club in 10 years so how do we win? Once a person is made a life member it's for LIFE, irrespective of their future actions. They were made life members for a reason and our generations need to acknowledge that contribution and respect it. That is what separates clubs from franchises. Legend |

Blaze there life memberships belong to a company that doesnt exist! I dont get it It's a simple matter of rolling them over. That's not a problem...If we follow that argument then the current Sydney Olympic hasn't won any national titles. How is it ok to roll the titles and trophies over and display them in our hall of fame, but revoke life memberships? Bravoblaze a decent reply that makes sense |

Please be advised that the Club is not revoking any Life Membership and the Board is respecting all Life Members of Sydney Olympic FC.
As indicated on the letter sent out to all Life Members, they will be deleted from the records for Administration purposes ONLY. This means the numerous letters that the Club receives back due to the fact that the Life Membership holder is either no longer alive or has changed his personal address and has not informed the Club will be avoided and will minimise the cost for our Club.
Furthermore this project will assist Sydney Olympic FC in Marketing, Sponsorship and Promotional campaigns to further advance our iconic club.
Members will be issued with a modern membership card and the Club will be able to communicate with Life Members more efficiently.
The cost of $20 is a one-off cost for re-issuing the new plastic Life Membership card and the administration processes required to complete this process.
