I'm being serious.
Under this model there's no way it will be successful. FFA won't give up on it and keep pumping money into it. This will hurt the FFA immensely and make me happy. I welcome the franchise.

I welcome the franchise. Fury, Rovers, GCU admitted under the current model all failed. How will this be different. If anything I feel for the kids in the area, this should be a positive thing for them and a positive influence in their often problematic lives. Instead they get a cobbled together piece of nothing that is bleeding money from day 1.

The FFA apparently are going to fund the team themselves.
Nothing screams of "please give us an Gay Leagueteam" more than no one wanting to fund it, FFA to go broke in this venture

my comments of Four Four Two:
People need to step back and take a breath for a moment. This club is being launched of the same poor economic modelling that led to GCU, Fury and Knights collapsing. Infact, it is worse - at least these clubs had independent backers.
So this franchise has started a couple steps behind and we expect it to succeed in the long run?

On an aside - wouldn't you be pissed off if you were Canberra. They at least had $$$, this has nothing.

Why create something out of nothing, when there is the culture, passion and support of the current clubs !!
FFA is killing itself.

Frank has his foot on the throats of our clubs. If we give him and the FFA a black eye you need to be united and use our limited resources to be effective. Like guerilla warefare.

WS has a lifespan of a couple of seasons unless a major investor can be found. This is not good strategy.

The saddest part about all of this is that Football NSW is too busy promoting this launch and don't give a stuff about their own comp. Because they are in bed with the FFA, they will not promote the old NSL teams.
