I dont mind if bonyrigg, blacktowns and lower stature clubs get involved in a conglomerate venture. But clubs like melita, olympic, syd utd marconi should stay well away from any a league involvement with this new franchise.
Im sure its possible for the ex clubs. Esp us, syd utd and sth melbourne etc to make enough noise and bring forward a voice that sustains a second tier comp that supports promotion and relegation. Im not sure how many business minded execs are on the boards of these clubs but surely there is enough acumen to put forward a decent business model.

Dont worry Olympic has always stood alone and strong, I wouldnt be too worried about this pissy little meeting,
Olympic is Canterbury-Marrickville-Bankstown-St George, we have nothing to do with Penrith-Blacktown-Parramatta-Fairfield-Liverpool-Campbelltown
Im perplexed as to what would be gained attending this meeting, but then again it could be just to keep up appearances and to be seen to give a fuck about the west sydney franchise
