221 years of football history combined and to me they are purposely being shafted by the powers that be, the disrespect is enormous.

I know for a fact that FFA wants to see the backs of these clubs and are hoping they close up.

Its as if its the Gay Leagueand nothing else in terms of football in Australia, our clubs backers and supporters are expected to fork out hundreds of thousands to keep the clubs going every year without no assistance from FFA or FNSW, but they dont blink at the thought of giving their franchises multi million dollar handouts.

What makes things worse is the basket case that is the NSWPL, where the Grand Final Winner gets 15,000, the Minor Premier gets 15,000 and the Waratah Cup Winner gets 10,000 which is laughable. There is no incentive for clubs to invest in anything further.

What are people's thoughts?

Football in this country is a mess.
For me, no Olympic, no football as far as I'm concerned.
I would support any of the other 3 teams before Sydney Hakoah FC.
I can't see any of us getting in the top league any time soon, but that's Ok.
I still enjoy going to the Olympic games.
They can have their A League and kid themselves that it's of a good standard.

Agree with Sweeper. Would rather watch Marconi or Sydney Olympic rather than Gay League. Great to watch Olympiacos smashing Melbourne victory. Shows how shit the Gay league is.

Can you imagine FFA/FNSW kicking out these clubs and replacing them with association teams..........

There is a review being conducted, apparently FNSW is going to reshuffle teams into 2 tiers and give power/promotion to Association/Region Clubs (e.g St George, Bankstown) and relegate a few third tier clubs to park level. That's what I heard anyway.

Only way they will be is if the Belmore saga continues.

If that is sorted out, there is no chance that you guys will miss out on a NSWPL place.

Olympic will never close up even if they play 10th div in the Canterbury or Marrcikville associations, The peole will never let it die.

Id love to see Lowy or whichever maggot go up to the Olympic board and say 'listen guys its over....' ;D
