A national second tier and a promotion-relegation system is planned to be introduced to Australian football and the Gay Leagueby 2022 at the latest, it has been revealed.
The ambitious move has been driven by pressure from the Asian Football Confederation, which is steadfast in its refusal to increase the amount of AFC Champions League spots available to Gay Leagueclubs.
