Who signed Pat? A. The board
If you were against Pat then you are going against the decision of the board and telling Pat to f%^k off is being negative towards the club.
Abusing the players when we lost 4-1 to Blacktown at home is being negative towards the club.
You need to choose which person you want to be. You can't be both otherwise you are like Jim Carrey in Me, Myself and Irene.

But when mel gibson and hes crew go on about cancer, tuberculosis, the club is going to fall over, and stuff like that without explain how and telling people to wait and sending autobiographies to the outside world thats damaging. Amongst olympic people talking thats not damaging. Thats the way i understand it if im wrong please explain. I dont have ego issues and am willing to discuss till the come of the next century

Amongst olympic people talking thats not damaging. Thats the way i understand it if im wrong please explain. I dont have ego issues and am willing to discuss till the come of the next century My piece explained everything perfectly and it detailed how certain people ARE DAMAGING THE CLUB. If the club didn't learn anything from my piece then the club will continue to make the same disgraceful errors time and time again. Here are the concluding paragraphs ... just to remind you.. "So eventually, George got his wish too. None of my family hold any position at Sydney Olympic anymore. I know of several directors and long-time supporters who have made written and verbal pleas for Nick and I to return to help the club. After all of the above, and considering our extensive voluntary contribution, did they honestly believe that Nick and I would be so stupid as to go back for more disgraceful treatment? Nick and I have done our time. It's time for others to help. I call upon Mr Nikolaou and Mr Stavroulakis to give up some of their time to volunteer at the club, that is, if the club let's them after reading this piece.
Today's Sydney Olympic is not the club I grew up loving. This is not the club my father taught me to love and help. This is not Sydney Olympic anymore. The club is run by a Board who is run by the President who is seemingly run by two journalists who have managed to not only jump over the fence into Sydney Olympic's backyard, but they have made it all the way into the main bedroom. My family is not the only one that has become disenchanted with Sydney Olympic. There are many families, many volunteers, many friends of the club that have seen and heard and had enough.
I am now one of those people.
I urge the Board to heed the lessons and examples detailed above for the sake of the future of Sydney Olympic. Please learn to treat volunteers like gold because they are the most valuable asset that the club has. I’m sure that you are seeing the money being spent to fund the club’s operations and wish it could be done by volunteers who care for the club. I also urge Football NSW to act appropriately and fairly towards the incident that took place after the Sutherland vs. Sydney Olympic match. Failure to do so will accelerate more anger towards you from the very people that fund your entire operation - the players and supporters of football in NSW. "

NOT ANYMORE..
Time for those words of advice:
THE TRUTH ALWAYS COMES OUT IN THE END.
WHAT YOU SOW YOU SHALL REAP.

Phoenix,
Where are the real and practical solutions to this problem?
Volunteering wont help, how do the people that care act to change this "problem"?
We know each other very well, but it is starting to sound like a "bitch" rather than a solutions focused discussion.
Keep it simple and give us the solutions as you see them. Remember, we can't change other peoples behaviour, but we can change how we behave.
Well? Tell us, how do we get control of our club back? Do we replace the President? The board? How do the sponsors feel? DO we have their support for a revolutionary change within SOFC.
We can all see that you and your family have been personally damaged, and as sorry as I am for this what we really need are solutions.
I know you still love SOFC and given the right opportunity you will embrace SOFC as will the club you.
Focus that great mind of yours on the positives or potential positives and act towards them. Not for the sake of any board members, supporter or journalist, but for the sake of SOFC.
Mr Inde

Mr Inde I honestly don't think that the problems can be solved with the current President being in charge at the club. I appreciate and acknowledge that some of the things he has done are exceptional (the long term lease at Belmore isn't one of them - I credit that to the Bulldogs NRL Club), but the treatment of volunteers (not only me or my family) simply has to change. I can't make the Directors' change their behaviour. They have to do it themselves. I have been in discussions with several people close to me throughout this whole saga.. and I always believed that the solution would be for the former Vice President to take over... but now that he is gone... well, something huge and from way out of left field has to happen now. The critical thing to remember here is this: If the club has done what it's done to a family who has contributed so much over the last ten years.. then what hope do they have in attracting other people to step up and volunteer their time and efforts and money to help the club. New people are desperately needed to become involved. Sadly for Sydney Olympic, I can never be involved again. I look back at all the things I've done, all the sacrifices I made, all the arguments with family overy my voluntary work for the club and how it took time away from my family.. and it truly hurts me. I have become very bitter and I hope people can understand why. I loved the club so much.. and now that love is gone. That said, I sincerely hope that the directors have learned some big lessons out of what has happened. If my family and i are sacrificial lambs for the greater good of sydney olympic then so be it. I'd be glad to have helped the club even though I've been severely personally shafted in the process. The club can survive without me and my family. We are not the be-all-and-end-all of sydney olympic.
