General Question are some people living in the past and acting like little babies? Sorry PAOKTZI but how many times do you keep on bringing up the past...

Welcome Endless. In response to your comment above. Bankstwon employed a Greek as head coach. Olympic is a club, race shouldn't matter when it comes to players and staff. Genk wasn't just coaching for Olympic, his reputation was on the line. If he had a terrible season then other clubs may have thought twice about employing him. Anyway, it's done now and it doesn't matter. It just seems stupid to most of us that we sacked a coach who won the competition in 2010. He wasn't sacked.

General Question are some people living in the past and acting like little babies? The past teaches you lessons and how to not make the same mistakes in the future. Yes these people no longer come to our games (not all games) but their legacy lives on. It was only last year and this year I am sure winning on the field would have done wonders for the club coupled with al the other things happening. Imagine how many Ultras we would have had if we were in the top 3?? And if we won the comp?? Instead we were pissing in the wind due to the legacy left behind. BINGO BINGO BINGO

no matter how it is said it is important to learn the lesson and not just pretend it didn't happen. It hurt so bad this year watching Olympic in 2nd last and seeing Blacktown in 2nd and then winning the GF. BINGO AGAIN.

People will always have different opinions in life but the trick to having harmony and beeing a gentleman is the way you react to when you dont get your way!

It's irrelevant who did what.. the point is that it happened and shouldn't have. And what good does saying it the way you have, do for anyone? I've made the point that Aytek Genc was our coach until he resigned (for reasons we all know) and he went on to win the comp in the next year.. This shows that he is a very very good coach. Point is that we lost that great opportunity to create a dynasty of success at the club.... all because some people didn't get their way.

Mate, if I had my way then we'd be both celebrating back to back titles with Aytek Genc as coach and a squad brimming with talent and with hundreds of Ultras and with thousands in the grandstand. Alas, he won the title where there's only one man and his dog watching...

I couldn't give a FLYING F*CK what background a coach is. If he (or she) is a good coach and if we can win titles with that coach then LET US HAVE HIM (OR HER)... This year the club (and the two 'journalists') boasted that we had a team full of Greeks. Where did this get us? Second last on the table and with very small crowd figures...

Again the race card does not need to be used either against atec or against or squad of last year! Your both wrong by playing it!

Again the race card does not need to be used either against atec or against or squad of last year! Exactly, so why did certain supporters and especially the two pissant journos use it? In the past we have had several Turkish players in our team in the past (e.g. Ozbey both when we were in the NSL he played Youth for Olympic Sharks, Akilli) and also several Skop players too (e.g Trajanovski). They all played for the blue and white jersey. Aytek coached wearing blue and white and wanted to win for blue and white. The journos kept harping on about bringing Greek players to Olympic to bring the crowds back. Yeah right we saw. We won two titles in the past and both times we had 2 greeks in the squad. Give me titles any day so the supporters of Sydney Olympic can have some pleasure. I don't care if we have a Turk, Skop, Alvano or oran-utan playing as long as we win and they celebrate with Olympic.

I've just said I couldn't give a toss what background a coach or player is... and you accuse me of playing the race card? WTF??
