Everyone my fellow Young Olympic Ultras fan.
I remember our beloved Sydney Olympic use to organize Horos (dance)
to raise money and a chance to socialize to catch up and having an enjoyable evening with live Greek music.
As ever year Sydney Olympic use to organize fund raising night it was Miss Sydney Olympic.
With full support of all the Olympic Supporters in the Greek community Greek newspapers O KOSMOS, GREEK HERALD and BHMA advertising.
In 1994 Ex President Harry Michaels he was a passionate person who loved Sydney Olympic and the board of directors organizing the annual for the Miss Sydney Olympic there were 6 candidates to be crowned Miss Sydney Olympic.
There were Elizabeth Tserdanis, Claudia Lorena Mpilokas, Irene Petrakis, Ourania Amvrazis, Fiona Cummins, Denie Penteost. working overtime to raise money for the club their tireless effort.
on that night of the Miss Sydney Olympic
The lucky prize was a car and other great prizes like a holiday donated from Majestic travel.
That night raised up to $39,000 that year.
It use to be once a year.
The winner of miss Sydney Olympic was Elizabeth Tserdanis
The Board Of Directors
Ex President Harry Michaels
Ex Vice President Tom Doumanis
Ex Secretary Jim Keladitis
Ex Treasurer Nick Theodorakopoulos
Ex DIRECTORS Andrew Andrikopoulos , the late Paul Betuzzi,
Peter Georgoudis, Emmanuel Livanos, Aurthur Polly
Unfortunately since the dismissed of the NSL unfortunate it is sad to say it the people lost interest it is like no one cares I suggest it once to remake miss Sydney Olympic some one said to me it is old fashion.
WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE IT.
Today we need Sydney Olympic FCC to be alive there always a Battle ahead of us without our personal attacks we all know there is going to be disagreements each person have their own opinion which i always respected being a director today especially it is not that easy making decision for the best of our club.
The key is UNITY us the Greek- Australia we need to set a good example for the kids for the next generation.
It is up to us.
The future is in our hands
