Just under a month till its announcement. I know some of you don't want Australia to win the rights, but for the sake of the game, let's hope it does get approved.

I would actually like Australia to get the world cup, it's about time that we hosted the worlds most watched footballing competition.
And we'll get to see Greece in action on our soil again (hopefully).
The Gay Leaguedream will be finished by 2022 anyway and we should have a cup and relegation by then, if not then the Sport will never take off and will always be the fourth preferred code.

Australia is a developed nation economically and developing football-wise it should be bidding for every World Cup that it is eligible to bid for plain and simple. Personally I think USA is the favourite to win they are in a better time slot they have the facilities all the stadia are massive and ready and they don't have rival codes giving their bid as many hassles as AFL/League are for us.
I'm already aiming the eggs at Lowy to malaka

FFA is trying to get involved in state bodies for one reason $$$. FFA and the Gay Leagueare in shambles and its a matter of time till they die. The Gov't has already frozen funding for 2012. With reduced revenue in Foxtel and Gov't bad times ahead. And believe me the current rich directors at FFA hav'nt put a dollar in since they have been on the board. My prediction is that the if no WC 2022, then the Gay Leaguewill find it tough to survive in the next 3 yrs. FNSWPL to be elite comp by 2015...
